As soon as you log into your WP Maps account, you will arrive at the get started page. From this page, you will be able to create a product locator without having to go to other tabs or sections.
Get Started Page
On the Get Started Page, you will see 5 sections:
- Add Locations
- Add Products (optional)
- Export the widget
- Customize Your Theme
- Synchronize Google Sheets (optional)
Each of these sections has two call-to-action buttons that will allow you to configure or create a specific part of the product locator.
Let's go over all of these call-to-action buttons one by one.
Add Locations
This section deals with entering or adding stores to your product locator.

1- Add Locations
This button will take you to the “Create Store” section where you can manually add stores one by one.
All you need to do is add the store details, store timing, and store attributes, and then press “Save Store” when you are done. As a result, your store will be added to the WP Maps database.

2- Import Locations
If you need to add multiple store location data at once, then you can go to the “Stores Import/Export” section to do so.
In this section, you can upload multiple store data using CSV files. Simply, click on the “Upload CSV” button to upload your CSV file onto WP Maps. Once it's uploaded, click on the “Import” button next to the file name to import your store location data onto the WP Maps database.

Add Products
This section deals with adding product data to your product locator.

1- Add Products
This button will take you to the “Create Product” section where you can manually add products one by one.
All you need to do is add the product details and product attributes, and then press “Save Product” when you are done. As a result, your product will be added to the WP Maps database.

2- Import Products
If you need to add multiple product data at once, then you can go to the “Products Import” section to do so.
In this section, you can upload multiple product data using CSV files. Simply, click on the “Upload CSV” button to upload your CSV file onto WP Maps. Once it's uploaded, click on the “Import” button next to the file name to import your product data onto the WP Maps database.

Export the Widget
This section mainly deals with the actual creation of the product locator widget.

1- Install
This button will take you to the “Widgets” page where you can configure and begin creating the actual layout of your product locator.
The “Install Product Locator” section will let you begin the process of creating a product locator through the “Install Widget” button.

The “Preview” section can be used to see what your product locator will look like by choosing certain options from the three drop-down menus.

Lastly, the “Builds” section will display all the product locator builds that you have created.

2- Preview
This button will take you directly to the “preview” section on the “Widgets” page where you can see what your product locator will look like by choosing specific options from the three drop-down menus and by pressing the “Preview” button.

Customize Your Theme
This section of the “Get Started” Page deals with changing the overall look of your product locator through color customization and word translation.

1- Change Colors
This button will take you directly to the “Widgets” page.
From the “Widgets” page, head over to the “Builds” section. If you have a product locator build created, you can press the “Option” button to open a menu. From this menu, select the “Color Update” option to open the color customizer modal window. From this window, you will be able to change various color schemes of your product locator.

2- Translation
This button will take you directly to the “Widgets” page.
From the “Widgets” page, head over to the “Builds” section. If you have a product locator build created, you can press the “Option” button to open a menu. From this menu, select the “Translate” option to open the “Translation” section. From here you will be able to change the words of your product locator to your preferred synonym.

Synchronize Google Sheets
The last section on the “Get Started” page involves synchronizing Google Sheets with your WP Maps account.
