WP Maps comes with a feature that will allow users to translate or change any text in the product or store locator. Furthermore, this article will provide a step-by-step guide on how to translate the text in your product or store locator.
For example, the search bar in your product locator may have the words “Search Location” written on it. Using the translation feature you can change “Search Location” to “Search Zip Code or City” if you choose to do so. You can even change the text to a different language, and make the product locator in a foreign language.
Text Translation Example
To translate or change the text of your store locator, please follow the below steps:
Step 1: On the WP Maps dashboard, go to the "Widgets" tab, press the "Options" button on a particular build, and select the "Translate" option.

Step 2: On the "Translations" page, search for the text you want to translate (for example, “Search Location”) and type in its translation (“Search Zipcode or City”)

Product Locator with Translated Text
In some cases the changes will not be seen on your website, this is due to cache. To clear the cache you will need to update the build on the WP Maps dashboard. Once you update the build a new code will be generated once the build is re-published. This code will need to be copied and pasted on your website. Once this is done the translation change will also appear on your website.
