Time can be selected to be either 12 hours or 24 hours format (from the drop-down menu)
Week Hours are selected under Locater Configuration to display timings for all 7 days, the current day the user is searching in, or display no timings.
The timings can be updated by hovering over Stores, select Create Stores, and Store Timings.
The time switch/toggle, if selected to Enable Open Stores Control, will allow the user to view stores open at the time of the search or targeted time.
Change Distance Ranges
The dropdown distance range is the distance range of a location that a user can select while searching for an area. It can be changed to values of 20,40,60,80, *100, or to other values of choice. The asterisk sign will mark the value as default.
Search Location Result
When a search is performed, there are several behaviors that a map features in the context of the search result.
Map to Show Actual Location with Search Zoom
When Map to Show Actual Location with Search Zoom is selected, the search result shows the exact location that is searched with the specific zoom criteria that are selected under Search Zoom under Maps Configuration.
Map to Show Nearest Location with Search Zoom
When Map to Show Nearest Location with Search Zoom is selected, the search result shows the nearest location. This happens when approximate keywords are searched.
Map fitBound All Stores
When Map fitBound All Stores is selected as a Search Location Result criterion; the entire area is displayed (regardless of the map’s pixel size) that consists of the stores searched.
Map fitBound to Selected Range
When Map fitBound to Selected Range is selected as a Search Location Result criterion; the areas bound by the Dropdown Range are displayed only.
When a product is selected on the Products page.
If Show All Products Count is selected, all products count is displayed.
If Show Only Matched Products Count is selected only matched products count (selected on the product page) is displayed.
Store Products Filter
Under Store Products Filter is selected, when Show Only Stores with Selected Products is selected, then the search result will include only the selected products.
When Show All Stores is selected, then all stores are displayed in the result, regardless of the products.
Restrict your search to a region
If the admin wants to restrict the user’s search to a certain country, for example only to the US, then a 2-character country code is entered.
Map Marker Types
Map Marker Type is the simple marker or circle marker for the product and store locations. For larger collections and faster processing, it is advisable to use circle markers.
Marker Color can be changed by a specific hex code through the color chooser with the text box.
Circle Marker Opacity can be selected from 1-100 according to the maps’ aesthetics.
Geo-location Marker Color can be changed with a specific hex code or chosen from the color chooser with the selected text box. If left blank, the search marker will be disabled.
Active State Color Marker is the marker that is marking the current area. Its color can be changed by entering a specific hex code or picking a color through a specific color-chooser.
Bounding Box shows stores that are within the search area bounding box, with ‘all stores’ options in the distance selection dropdown, it is a type of search restriction feature that maps the searched area into a polygon of the searched area.
Filter Text Matched Stores
When Text Matched Stores is selected, the options displayed will match the keywords searched, even when outside the radius range, this option works best with Google Maps Place API search.
